The project file gives every module one stable project identity. It links the customer and team to scope, dates, documents, RFIs, daily reports, defects, change orders, invoices, payments and activity history.
The file is not one giant document. It is the relationship between purpose-built records, each with its own status and permissions, so people can open the context they need without copying the same project into separate systems.
A project file is more than document storage
A folder stores files. A project file also relates live operational records such as deadlines, responsibility, approval and value. Documents remain evidence, but they do not replace structured workflow.
